Gotta Love Those Scammers
Gotta love scammers. I had someone from “PPL” come to my door asking about my electric service. After asking if he had a borough solicitation permit and he didn’t reply I told him to politely keep walking he decided to mouth off at me as he was walking away. I decided to grab the trash cans from the curb and to my surprise I heard a familiar voice yelling at me from down the street. I turned around and the same gentleman was motioning for me and told me to “come at him”. I politely declined and decided to call the police. After a few minutes I walked back outside to see where he may have gone and he was the next block over. I decided to give him a friendly wave while I talked to my next door neighbor. Much to my surprise he decided to come back my way. While he was walking in my direction an unmarked patrol car drove by. I flagged him down and pointed the “gentleman” out. By the time the officer turned around the “gentleman” was at our next door neighbor’s house and started to lip off at me again. His tune changed when the officer came up beside me. He started blubbering that I called him this and that but the officer saw right through it. He was informed to stop soliciting and to leave along with his group. He walked away in a huff and I thanked the officers for their time and service. Have I mentioned that I love scammers?
